Job Description

Dakes Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with a valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) pin to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Provide Direct Nursing Care: Deliver professional and compassionate nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and managing other complex health needs.

  • Assess, Plan, and Implement Care Plans: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualised care plans, and regularly review and update them based on patient needs.

  • Monitor and Evaluate Patient Health: Observe and assess patients’ conditions, promptly addressing changes and implementing necessary interventions.

  • Medication Administration and Management: Administer medications accurately in line with regulatory guidelines, and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions.

  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with doctors, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

  • Document Patient Care: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including daily observations, care provided, and any changes in health status.

  • Educate and Support Patients and Families: Provide information, guidance, and emotional support to patients and their families, helping them understand treatment plans and care requirements.

  • Promote Health and Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols, including infection control, safeguarding, and hygiene standards.
