Responsibilities

Provide Personal and Practical Support: Assist clients with daily activities, including meal preparation, mobility, and other personal care tasks to maintain their comfort and dignity.

Encourage Independence and Social Engagement: Support clients in participating in activities, building routines, and engaging in their communities to foster independence and well-being.

Administer Medication and Health Monitoring: Assist with administering prescribed medication and monitor clients’ health, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.

Emotional and Companionship Support: Build strong, positive relationships with clients, offering companionship, empathy, and understanding to enhance their mental and emotional well-being.

Assist with Household Tasks: Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, ensuring clients have a safe and comfortable environment.

Promote Safety and Well-being: Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment, promptly address any risks, and support clients’ physical and emotional safety.

Document and Report Care Activities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily activities, observations, and any concerns regarding the client’s health and welfare.
